CIVIL WAR IN ASTURIAS

“WAR TIME” is our proposal for hiking routes in Asturias, to get to know the remains of the civil war in Asturias.

Did you know that Asturias is probably the autonomous community with the most remains of civil war buildings? Due to the development of the front, the whole of Asturias is dotted with trenches, casemates, forts, sharpshooters’ pits? Our proposal does not seek to “tell little battles” of the war, but to get to know a little of our recent history, so that it does not happen again. And while we are at it, we also visit places with spectacular views, as the locations are mainly in mountainous areas.

As you can see, we like variety, and doing “something more than just walking”.
