Viaje a la Palma

Mapa La Palma

We suggest you a special trip to La Palma.  Enjoy a one-week hiking trip with guided routes on La Palma.  Volcanoes, laurel forests, cliffs and much more in this guided hiking experience in the Canary Islands.

La Palma is known as the beautiful island of the Canary Islands.  This is because it is an island full of contrasts and richness.  From high volcanic mountains, above 2000 metres, to rugged coastlines.  From the lunar landscapes of recent volcanoes to the lush laurel forests.

In addition, La Palma is a hiking paradise in the Canary Islands.  It is an island full of trails of all kinds.  From eminently mountainous routes to easy options.  On this trip we propose a medium-level hiking option.

But not everything is going to be mountain hiking, so we will leave some time to get to know cool villages, and let ourselves be impregnated by their history, their culture, their traditions...

Are you up for it?

hiking and nature in La Palma

La Palma is a treasure trove of hiking in the Canary Islands.  It is the most mountainous island and offers beautiful volcanic routes, as well as a spectacular coastline.

Sin duda, es una de las joyas de las Islas Canarias.  Y te proponemos un viaje que no te dejará indiferente.

la palma history and traditions

We also propose you to get to know the history and traditions of the island.  From its pre-Hispanic history, to understanding the traditional conditions of life on the island.  The secular isolation of the island has turned it into a world of rediscovery and a world of experiences.

Day 1

Arrival at la Palma

We pick you up at the airport and drive to Santa Cruz de la Palma, where we will stay for the whole trip.  Visit to the capital of the island.

Day 2

The depths of la Caldera

We approach the interior of the Caldera de Taburiente, National Park.  We will follow a beautiful downhill route from Los Brecitos to the depths of the Caldera, with the option of bathing in one of its spectacular pools.

Day 3

We will visit the Caldera from another point of view, from the Roque de los Muchachos.  Opportunity to take a short walk around the area and visit the Astronomical Observatory. Did you know that the island is regulated to prevent light pollution?

Day 4

Get your camera ready, although there are some things that a camera cannot reproduce.  We will do the famous Volcanoes route.  It is the longest route of the whole trip, but the views along the way will be well worth it.

Day 5

laurisilva in la palma

We are going to the north of the island, to the Marcos and Cordero springs.  A paradise of laurel forest, water and greenery all around you.  Of course, the beautiful island is an island of contrasts.

Day 6

We will take one of the most special routes of the trip, to visit Porís de Candelaria.  A small village embedded in the middle of a cliff.

Day 7

We end the trip with two of the island's main features.  The Teneguía volcano, which erupted in the 1970s, is a wonderful combination with the coast and the lighthouse of Fuencaliente.
