Travel Plan
DAY 1
WE LEAVE BILBAO
We pick you up at the airport, train or bus station and we take you to Cangas de Onis, a beautiful tourist town with an interesting cultural downtown.
DAY 2
THE POWER OF THE SEA
The force of the sea is capable of sculpting the coast and creating true wonders, such as the bufones, small marine geysers, as well as inland beaches such as Gulpiyuri or Cobijeru. If the weather and the tides are good, we will be able to see them and feel their thunderous force. We will finish the day in Ribadesella, a coastal town that still preserves its ancestral homes, as it was the summer residence of wealthy families at the beginning of the 20th century.
DAY 3
THE POWER OF WATER ON ROCK
It is not only the water that sculpts the rock on the coast. Also inland. We will leave Ribadesella to visit the caves of Tito Bustillo, the village of Cuevas and take a short walk to the Olla de San Vicente. Get ready to take a dip in the sea. Or two… We will spend the night in Ponga, in a small hotel next to a natural thermal pool.
DAY 4
FROM TOUCHING THE SKY TO SUCKING OUR FINGERS
We will make a short ascent to Picu Pierzu, a wonderful balcony overlooking Picos de Europa. After that we will enjoy the cheese and cider museum in Cangas de Onís. We will end up sleeping in Oviedo, a city that stands out for its cathedral, its old town and for having several examples of Asturian pre-Romanesque architecture, a unique style in the world.
DAY 5
FILM LANDSCAPES
We will approach the valleys of Teverga and Quirós, to visit one of the most impressive places in the Cantabrian, surrounded by mountains. A route of less than six hours that will remain engraved in our minds… to end up sleeping in the medieval village of Salas.
DAY 6
HIDDEN BEACHES
Western Asturias is full of wonderful beaches, little known and practically deserted. We will take you to visit some of them. And if you dare, take a dip in our cool waters!!!! We will finish the day visiting Cudillero, one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the north of the peninsula.
DAY 7
BACK TO BILBAO
The return journey awaits us, but on the way back we will stop to visit the area of Cabo de Peñas, with its spectacular cliffs.
